The Toynbee Tiles have been subject to mass speculation since their appearance in the 80’s and 90’s. No one is sure of the exact origin or intention of the tiles although many interpretations have been made. The suspected creator died in 2003, but new tiles similar to the original have been reported since his death.
The compelling documentary Resurrect Deaddefinitely adds to the mystery of the tiles and has further insight into this bizarre phenomenon.
